Ecclesiastes 3:8 “A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.”
Right now, is “a time” when those who would be our enemies can see just how mighty a praying nation really is and what praying people can do together. Our Nation is made up of people with various religions, traditions, customs, skin colors, and even different ideas of Government. But, when we have a common enemy (Coronavirus), we unify in prayer to the Great God that has so wonderfully blessed and delivered us in times past. When the “war” is over, we can debate the decisions that our leaders have made and learn from our mistakes. But, in the heat of the battle, “a time of war”, lets show those who hate our nation just what we are made of; for, our God is our King, “The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.” (Psalms 18:2)! With our God-given “faith” (Hebrews 11:1; 12:2) we don’t faint and run away in “a time of war”, we come together and help each other in “a time of war”, our differences are put aside in “a time of war”, and we rest in the promise of our God’s Grace in “a time of war”! When our enemies see our blessings and unity in “a time of war”, they will know that it is unwise to make “war” against us!
