II Corinthians 3:12  “Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech:

This blessed “hope” is in the glorious truth declared in the “ministration of righteousness” (II Corinthians 3:9).  This “hope” emboldens and motivates “able ministers of the new testament” (II Corinthians 3:6) to “use great plainness of speech” in Preaching the Lord’s Gospel.  The “ministration of righteousness” literally means the ‘serving’ (Preaching and Teaching) of “righteousness”.  This “ministration” is infinitely glorious, for it plainly teaches that the Children of God were “made righteous” (Romans 5:19) before our Heavenly Father, not by our works under the Old Testament Law Service, but by our Lord’s sacrificial death on our behalf.  The boundless joy and peace of “such hope” proclaimed in the “ministration of righteousness”, both consoles and encourages those whose hearts are broken by sin.
