I John 4:12 “No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us. 13 Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.”
It is certain that “No man hath seen God at any time”; but, we can certainly see where He is and know that He is there! One of the sure evidences that God is present, is a Church that loves one another and that loves strangers that come amongst them. The most blessed place on this earth to be, is in a Church where “love” is declared, is felt, and is openly shown. I “love” to watch as the Church begins to gather in, and folks greet one another with smiles and embraces. In a Church where “love” is present, there is deep and sincere concern for the sick, the needy, the elderly, and the young. Not only is there deep concern, but actions are taken to help and encourage one another. Those who have the “love” of God in them are kind to look over each other’s failings and quick to forgive one another. This “love” is poured out in prayers as petitions are made to the Lord for those in need. And, there is an outpouring unified “love” for our Lord God Almighty, most especially when the blessed Gospel is Preached. Then, “love” is shown again in a parting round of embraces and prayers for wellbeing until the next meeting. And, “love” continues as the Church members maintain contact with one another and are always ready to help and encourage one another. Furthermore, they “love” to talk together about the Holy things of our Lord. Such “love” is like a loud trumpet, declaring that The Lord God Almighty Is Here In Us!
