2024-09-12 “the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand”

Isaiah 53:10  “Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.

It “pleased the LORD to bruise” His “beloved Son” (Matthew 3:17) because when He made “his soul an offering for sin”, in that singular act, He saved “his people from their sins” (Matthew 1:21).  Furthermore, “the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand”; that is, “by his [loving] knowledge shall my righteous servant [The Son Of God] justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities” [Eternally away from them] (Isaiah 53:11).  Our Beloved Lord willingly “gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father” (Galatians 1:4).  The “pleasure of the LORD” did and continues to “prosper in his hand”; for, our Lord tells us that “And this is the Father’s will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.” (John 6:39).  Since the day that “the LORD” bruised His “beloved Son”, generation after generation, great multitudes have been “born again” by the Holy spirit (John 3:3) and have heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ our Lord and have repented of their sins and have taken up their cross to follow Him and have been baptized and have taken their place as faithful members of the Lord’s Church.  In the Lord’s Church they are bound together by the Holy Spirit, loving the Lord, loving and caring for one another, loving the Lord’s Gospel Message, and they joyfully look forward to their Eternal Home in Heaven with the Lord.  These blessed Children of God, worship together, cry together, and rejoice together.  These are those “Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” (John 1:13).  And in our day, “the pleasure of the LORD” is still prospering “in his hand”.  Even after His people’s bodies die, “the pleasure of the LORD” continues to prosper; for, John records that He saw their Souls/Spirits worshiping in Heaven; He wrote, “And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.” (Revelation 19:6).  Let us daily rejoice that “the pleasure of the LORD” is prospering “in his hand”; for, “it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings” (Hebrews 2:10)!
