Isaiah 1:4 “Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the LORD, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward.”
This is what we get when people begin to turn away from God, His Word, and His Church. The shootings, the rioting, the hatefulness, the selfishness, the greed, the anger, the addictions, the immorality, etc. are what a nation gets when the people have “gone away backward”; when they “have forsaken the LORD”. When this happens, there is a move for centralized control of the citizens to quell the bad behaviors. The problem with centralized control is that carnal men take control and they soon become as vile and corrupt as the bad behaviors that they were supposed to quell; the result is loss of freedom and bondage to corruption. Our Nation is not a theocracy, but for us to remain free, our Nation must be guided by true Christian teachings for integrity and morality. To resolve our present crises, let all who love the Lord stand tall and strong in the Faith, and “Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; 13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. 14 And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. 15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. 16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom;” (Colossians 3:12-16)!
